Privacy

Short version: the tests run on your device, nothing you do in a test is sent anywhere, and we don’t use tracking cookies.

What runs where

All tests are plain web pages. Patterns, measurements (such as your refresh rate or screen resolution) and anything you enter (such as calculator values or touch drawings) are processed in your browser and are never uploaded.

Local storage

Some tests save small preferences — for example your last chosen color or the progress of a guided check — in your browser’s local storage so they are there next time. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for screentest.dev in your browser settings.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use this data to identify or profile visitors.

Permissions

No test asks for your camera, microphone or location. Fullscreen and “keep screen awake” are used only while a test is open in fullscreen.
